Effect on Modeling : This table sets the default display colors for member main materials, bolts, welds and submaterials when members in Modeling are displayed in any of the three solid forms .

What is meant by "default" color? The default color is the color applied when members are newly added. The colors of individual materials can be changed in Modeling by selecting a different " Color " on that material's edit window. For 3D bolts, the color can be changed by switching the bolt " Class " from ' Field ' to ' Shop ' or vice-versa.

Effect on Detail Erection Views: The colors selected on this table do not affect 2D erection view drawings, even when the " Steel member style " is ' Solid '.
